Step #1: Open Outlook Express
  1. One the main program menu click "Tools".
  2. Click "Accounts".
Step #2: Email Accounts Listing
  1. Click the "Add" button located on the right.
  2. Next choose "Mail" from the different option son the menu.
Step #3: Internet Configuration Wizard
  1. Next to the field called "Display Name" enter the name you want people see when you send them an e-mail.  

    NOTE: This does NOT have to be your name.  In the example here we have used the name "John Doe", but this can be changed to Mr. Doe, J. Doe, etc.
  2. Click the "Next" button to proceed with the setup.
Step #4: Internet E-mail Address
  1. Click the circle next to "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use." once to select it.
  2. Next to the field for " E-mail Address" enter in your NTS e-mail address.  This is usually your User Name followed by "@ntslink.net".  Like in our example below this persons User Name is "johndoe" so his e-mail address is "johndoe@ntslink.net".
  3. Click the "Next" button to proceed with the setup.
Step #5: E-mail Server Names
  1. Select "POP3" from the drop down menu next to "My incoming mail server is a".
  2. In the field next to "Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server" type "mail.ntslink.net".
  3. In the field next to "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server" type "mail.ntslink.net".
  4. Click the "Next" button to proceed with the setup.
Step #6: Internet Mail Logon
  1. In the field next to "Account Name" enter in your User Name.
  2. In the field next to "Password Enter" enter in you Password.
  3. Click the "Next" button to proceed with the setup.
Step #7: Email Account Created
  1. Click the "Finish"button to finish the setup.
Step #8: Setup Complete
  1. You should now see the account you have just created (mail.ntslink.net) located on the left.
  2. Click the "Close" button to complete the setup.
